A collapse occurred during the foundation excavation of a construction site in Istanbul's Bahçelievler district.
One of the workers trapped under the pile of soil and mud in the incident was rescued alive.
The collapse took place around noon at a building under construction on İbrahim Çallı Street in the Siyavuşpaşa neighborhood. It was stated that a mass of soil and mud slid toward the area where the workers were located during the foundation excavation.
Upon notification, fire, AFAD, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area.
MOMENTS OF THE WORKER'S RESCUE RECORDED
The worker, who was pulled from under the soil through the efforts of the teams, was taken to the ambulance by medical personnel and transported to the hospital.
It was reported that search and rescue efforts are continuing at the scene to reach one more person.
