Adem Akgül, who works as a plumber in the Salıpazarı district of Samsun, noticed that 400 thousand TL that did not belong to him had been deposited into his bank account.
Thinking that the money had been transferred to his account by mistake, Akgül applied to the bank branch and reported that the amount did not belong to him.
In the investigation conducted by the bank, it was determined that the 400 thousand TL belonged to another person with the same first and last name. After the transaction was corrected, the money was transferred to the account of its rightful owner.
Thus, the error caused by the name similarity was resolved upon Akgül's application.
