Joint declaration from CHP provincial chairs: 'No fabricated plot will stop our march to power'

The CHP Marmara Region Provincial Chairs Meeting held in Bilecik has concluded. In the joint declaration released, it was stated, "Let it be known by all that all our mayors are the apple of our organization's eye. No fabricated case, conspiracy, or plot will be able to stop our party's march to power."

The CHP Marmara Region Provincial Chairs meeting was held in Bilecik under the chairmanship of CHP Deputy Chairman and Balıkesir Deputy Ensar Aytekin. The meeting was attended by CHP Bilecik Deputy Yaşar Tüzün, Bilecik Mayor Melek Mızrak Subaşı, and CHP provincial chairs from the Marmara Region.

JOINT DECLARATION RELEASED

A joint declaration was released following the meeting. The following statements were used in the declaration:

"As the Republican People's Party, the founder and protector of the Republic of Turkey, we have demonstrated a deeply rooted, institutionalized tradition of democracy by overcoming various obstacles throughout our history, spanning over a century from the very first day we were founded to the present day."

"WE ARE NOT FACING PRESSURE AND INTIMIDATION ATTEMPTS FOR THE FIRST TIME"

"The pressure and intimidation attempts we are subjected to are not a situation we are facing for the first time in our history. Throughout every period of Turkey's political history, despite the pressures, we have never once hesitated to move forward in the light of our strong legacy, aware of our duty to carry our country to a more advanced point."

"WE WILL NOT ALLOW THOSE WHO WANT TO WEAR DOWN OUR PARTY"

"Today, we will not give way to those who want to design politics by using the judiciary as a stick, and to those who want to wear down our party with various slanders and smears."

"NO POWER WILL BE ABLE TO DISRUPT OUR UNITY"

"Under the leadership of our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel, no power will be able to disrupt our unity with all components and members of our party through lies, slander, and hypocrisy in any way. We clearly declare that we will not allow this. Let it be known by all that all our mayors are the apple of our organization's eye. No fabricated case, conspiracy, or plot will be able to stop our party's march to power."
