Kılıçdaroğlu to take the podium: CHP group management and meeting schedule finalized

Kılıçdaroğlu to take the podium: CHP group management and meeting schedule finalized

During the CHP's closed-door group meeting, members of the TBMM Group Management, Disciplinary Board, and Auditors were elected. Speaking after the meeting, CHP Group Chairman Faik Öztrak stated that there were no changes to the day and time of the group meetings and announced that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu would conduct the group meetings to be held on Tuesdays.

GROUP MEETINGS TO CONTINUE ON THE SAME DAY AND TIME

Responding to journalists' questions after the closed-door group meeting, Faik Öztrak said that the group management, disciplinary board, and auditor members were determined during the meeting.

Stating that there were no changes to the group meeting calendar, Öztrak said, "From now on, as the Republican People's Party, we will hold our group meetings at our usual time. Tuesdays at 13:30."

Öztrak stated that if the TBMM is in session next week, the group meeting will be held, and added that Kılıçdaroğlu would also attend the meeting.

"THERE IS NO PROTEST"

Responding to a question regarding deputies who did not attend the meeting and allegations of protest, Öztrak replied, "No, there is no protest. Our friends reported excuses. Some of our friends lost their relatives. That is why they could not come. Some of them went to the Aegean region to pick up their families because they were affected by the fires there, so they could not participate, they could not come. Therefore, all our friends have reported their excuses."

Regarding allegations that the intra-party opposition would call on Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu not to be a candidate, Öztrak said he had no such information.

Öztrak also reported that 25 deputies attended the closed-door group meeting, and one deputy left the meeting to attend the Independence Medal Presentation Ceremony for İnebolu held at the Parliament.
