Levent Gök's harsh reaction to Yüksel Arslan: The mask has fallen
Former CHP MP Levent Gök has reacted sharply to criticisms from Yüksel Arslan. Gök alleged that Arslan "used all the resources available as the second-in-command at the municipality, yet attempted to manipulate the CHP," stating, "The mask has fallen, the truth is revealed."
Former CHP MP Levent Gök has reacted sharply to statements made by Yüksel Arslan.
In a post on his X account, Arslan wrote, "Those who hold hands with the enemies of the founding will and the founding principles set forth by Atatürk cannot be 'Mustafa Kemal's Soldiers'." Without naming names, Arslan argued that some politicians "open doors to European capitals" to climb the career ladder, adding, "Those whose only concern is their own career and walking the path laid out for them are called 'Project Kids,' not 'Mustafa Kemal's Soldiers'."
CHP member Levent Gök stated that Arslan was the second-in-command at the municipality and utilized all of the municipality's resources. Gök said, "Yüksel Arslan was the number two in the municipality. He used municipal resources and became a rival to the CHP in the elections, yet no one asked how this was possible. He was always hosted in the place of honor. He did not love the CHP, but he loved being involved in efforts to manipulate the CHP. The mask has fallen, the truth is revealed."
