President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was speaking at the Turkey Century Education Model Promotion Program, was approached by a girl who ran to him after the speeches to hug him and kiss his hand. 

It turned out that the girl is the sister of Bahar and Nihal Candan.

According to the report by Mahmut Özay from Türkiye newspaper; Zeynep Su Candan, a student at Ahmet Keleşoğlu Science High School in Ataşehir, Istanbul, said, “I explained the situation of my sisters one by one. He looked me in the eye while listening and said he would look into it. I am very happy.”

Zeynep Su Candan stated the following:

“They did not do anything wrong against our state. There is no money flow in their accounts. My sisters were kept inside for months based on a few baseless, false statements. We are victims as a family; my sister's husband did not get involved either. We gathered our strength as a family and helped my sisters for seven months. Nihal could not handle this situation; since the only thing she did while inside was shower and pray, she did not eat and dropped to 28 kilograms. She came back from the brink of death. Thank God we got her weight back up; my grandmother is taking care of her. Then she was released, but an acquittal decision has not been issued yet. Now Bahar is inside. Bahar has been lying in the emergency room for days.”

"SHE IS ABOUT TO DIE INSIDE"

“There is no concrete evidence in the indictment. I have infinite respect for my prosecutors and my state. You can wrong a person, tell lies, and break hearts, but you cannot wrong the state. My father is a dean at a state university, and my mother is a primary school teacher. My grandmother and grandfather were teachers in the state system. In other words, we are a family that has placed the state at the center of our lives. Despite all this, they accused us of doing wrong against the state. My sister is currently on the verge of death. My mother and father put so much effort into raising her. But she is about to die inside right now. I am very scared.”

“I explained all of this to our President. He looked me in the eye and listened to everything one by one. Thank you very much.
