Meteorology announces: Marmara, Aegean, and Black Sea to cool down with wind

According to assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northeastern parts of the country and the Eastern Mediterranean are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and occasional thunderstorms expected in the Taurus Mountains section of the Eastern Mediterranean after noon, and in the vicinity of Sinop and Samsun starting from the evening hours; other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny.
No significant change is expected in air temperatures. Temperatures are projected to remain above seasonal norms in the western and coastal regions, and around seasonal norms in other areas.
The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south during the noon hours along the Mediterranean coast and in Southeastern Anatolia, light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) along the Marmara, Northern Aegean, and Western Black Sea coasts.
