Methamphetamine found inside the bodies of 4 suspects in Bitlis
It was determined that 4 Iranian nationals on a passenger bus stopped in Tatvan were carrying drugs, as revealed by hospital imaging.
In the Tatvan district of Bitlis, 4 Iranian nationals were apprehended during a check conducted by Narcotics Crimes Investigation teams on a passenger bus. X-ray and tomography scans taken at the hospital revealed that the suspects were carrying narcotic substances in their stomachs and intestines.

As a result of the police teams' efforts, a total of 1 kilogram and 392 grams of methamphetamine in 117 capsules were removed from the suspects' bodies. It was stated that the operation was carried out as part of efforts against drug trafficking and smuggling.
The 4 detained suspects were referred to the courthouse on charges of "manufacturing and trafficking of narcotic substances" following their processing at the police station. The suspects were arrested by the judicial authorities and sent to prison.

The Bitlis Police Department announced that the fight against the manufacturing, smuggling, and use of narcotic substances will continue with determination to ensure the peace and security of citizens.
