Minister Gürlek announces: 84 judges and public prosecutors dismissed from the profession

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek made a statement on his social media account regarding the disciplinary decisions of the Second Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) for the year 2026.

Gürlek reported that the HSK Second Chamber reached substantive decisions regarding 525 judges and public prosecutors in 2026.

According to the information shared by Minister Gürlek, disciplinary penalties were imposed on 333 of these individuals. Within the scope of the decisions, 168 warnings, 24 reprimands, 23 salary deductions, 4 suspensions of step advancement, 30 reassignments, and 84 dismissals from the profession were issued.

The statement noted that the decisions were taken by the HSK Second Chamber.
