CHP's İnce, who actively uses his social media account and makes striking assessments and comments on the agenda with his posts, this time targeted AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan made statements at the High-Level International Conference on Finding a Solution to the Palestine Question and Implementing the Two-State Solution, held at the United Nations (UN) General Assembly Hall. While Erdoğan drew attention to the events in Palestine, CHP's Muharrem İnce used striking expressions regarding this trip by Erdoğan and US President Trump.
İnce alluded to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's remarks on the 'purchase of 300 Boeing aircraft' and criticized Erdoğan's 'world leadership'.
Here are those lines from Muharrem İnce:
"If you were a leader respected in the world, you wouldn't involve the president's son to meet with Trump, who told you 'don't be a fool' in the past! You wouldn't pay a 300 Boeing bribe to get an appointment! You wouldn't lift the additional tax on products imported from the US before even going to the US! The problem isn't that you aren't a world leader, it's that you think you are. It's that you deceive your base this way!"
