Müsavat Dervişoğlu poses tough questions to the government regarding the reconciliation process!

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the current agenda at his party's group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

On Dervişoğlu's agenda was the second reconciliation process, which the government calls a "Terror-Free Turkey," being conducted with the DEM Party and the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan.

Giving harsh messages regarding the framework law expected to be enacted as part of the process, Dervişoğlu raised important questions regarding the PKK terrorist organization's process of laying down arms.

Dervişoğlu asked, "They say, 'Pass the law now, we will talk about laying down arms later.' The government is making the state take steps according to the plans of a terrorist organization. How many people have laid down their arms? Where are the surrendered weapons? Have ballistic examinations been conducted? Which state institution has confirmed that the organization has ended? What has happened to PJAK in Iran?" 

In the continuation of his speech, Dervişoğlu also addressed the status discussions brought up for PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, stating, "You put Selahattin Demirtaş, who said 'We will erect Apo's statue,' in prison. You are turning somersaults to give Apo status. Are you not ashamed? If Demirtaş had said 'We will make you president,' would you have erected Apo's statue together?"

"WHAT WILL BE PROPOSED IN THE FRAMEWORK LAW IS STILL UNKNOWN"

-What will be proposed to the Turkish nation in the framework law is still unknown. The government is silent. The Imralı criminal knows about the draft law that is being hidden from the leaders of political parties. Will the Parliament make this law, or will the Parliament be used for a law made with Imralı? What kind of state wisdom is this? The state cannot have lost its mind to this extent.

"THE RESULT WAS CLEAR FROM THE BEGINNING"

-First, you made the proposal that Imralı wanted, and now you say that the law was drafted by Imralı. This means the national will is being usurped by Imralı. This commission is the precursor to this work. It is legitimization through the Parliament. The result was clear from the beginning. The government and its new partner were going to do what Imralı said. They said the terrorist organization would lay down its arms with all its elements. However, they said that legal regulations would be made only after this. This was the order in the commission report they announced with great fanfare. Now they are not sticking to the conditions.

-Now they say, "Pass the law now, we will talk about laying down arms later." The government is making the state take steps according to the plans of a terrorist organization. How many people have laid down their arms? Where are the surrendered weapons? Have ballistic examinations been conducted? Which state institution has confirmed that the organization has ended? What has happened to PEJAK in Iran? Has the chain of command been broken?

-If the organization does not fulfill its promises, will the opportunities provided be taken back? Or will you leave it to Imralı's whim? What are you chasing after?

-They are rewarding terrorism, murder, and treason. They are trying to put a tie on a terrorist serving a life sentence. Do you see better now who is with whom?

"WHAT SUCCESS HAS ÖCALAN SHOWN!"

-What success has Öcalan shown! It is requested that high-level cadres be allowed to engage in politics. They said the organization has reached a point where it can negotiate. They lied.

-It was said that the process is managed by Öcalan. If a process is negotiated with this many lies, will it bring any good to the Turkish nation? Now they call this "democratic integration."

"YOU WILL BE THE ONES TO KNEEL"

-You will not be able to make this Republic kneel. You will be the ones to kneel. Those who hold power will be.

-Imralı calls it the root law, the government calls it the framework law. The goal is to continue this. We have broken the branches of the Republic, is it now the turn of its roots? First you said let them speak in Parliament, then you said status. Now it has turned into a root law. "Terror-Free Turkey" is a continuation of the "it's not enough but yes" trap; don't look at what's beyond it.

-For years, everyone who said "against the government" was called a terrorist. They wrote them next to terrorism with media lynchings or arrests. They filled the prisons with dissidents.

-They designed the main opposition party with legal decisions.

'YOU PUT DEMİRTAŞ IN PRISON, YOU ARE TURNING SOMERSAULTS FOR APO'S STATUS'

-"You put Selahattin Demirtaş, who said 'We will erect Apo's statue,' in prison. You are turning somersaults to give Apo status. Are you not ashamed? If Demirtaş had said 'We will make you president,' would you have erected Apo's statue together?"

-I say, pull yourselves together, it is the Turkish nation that will suffer.

-You walked together while FETÖ was settling into the state. When FETÖ was your partner, it was a "service movement," then it became a terrorist organization. Yesterday, when it was useful to you, you called it a "community," now you call the terrorist organization that is useful to you a "politician."

-You cannot say "trust us" before every disaster and then whistle and move on. I will be on your back. You will erode the values of the Republic just so you can stay in power, is that it? If the fox has a game, the wolf has one too. 

"IMRALI CANNOT WRITE THE TURKISH NATION'S LAW"

-Our stance is clear. The Republic is the citizen's ability to establish a relationship with the state without intermediaries. Kurds are equal citizens. The concessions made for now will be the beginning of the next. Every topic you remain silent on will come before you tomorrow as a legal article. Imralı cannot write the Turkish nation's law. Being a partner to the state is one thing. Cashing in the influence created by weapons into politics is another.

"WE WILL NOT BOW TO THIS BLACKMAIL POLITICS"

-They said let them come to Parliament and speak. They couldn't bring them. They said status, they couldn't do it. They said give them a coordinator role, they couldn't do it. They said let the commission go to Imralı. They sent 3-5 people. Because we are here. We will be on their necks with every step they take.

-We will not bow to this blackmail politics. We say no to treason and negligence.
