Gürlek's statement is as follows:

"The streets of Gaziantep are being cleared of poison dealers. We are leaving no room for drug barons, street-level dealers, and their digital networks that target the future of our youth, the peace of our families, and the safety of our cities.

Under the coordination of our Gaziantep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, as a result of the meticulous technical and physical work carried out by our Gaziantep Provincial Police Department for 6 months, the “Narko Kapan Gaziantep Operation” was carried out this morning targeting suspects engaged in drug trafficking on the streets.

Within the scope of the operation, 548 suspects were identified one by one. It was determined that 75 of the suspects were in penal institutions. While 382 suspects have been detained so far as part of the operation launched simultaneously in 14 provinces centered in Gaziantep this morning, proceedings are ongoing for the remaining 91 suspects, 4 of whom are fugitives abroad.

On this occasion, I would like to thank our Gaziantep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which meticulously conducted the investigation, our Gaziantep Provincial Police Department, which successfully executed the operation, our General Directorate of Security's Department of Anti-Narcotic Crimes, and all our public officials who contributed to the process.

Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and hand in hand with our Ministry of Interior, we continue to mobilize all the resources of our state in the fight against drugs and organized crime. Poison dealers who threaten the future of our children should know that the breath of our state will always be on their necks!"
