New details have emerged in the investigation into the armed attack near the İnci Üzmez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the Turgutlu district of Manisa, where 11 students, 3 of them seriously, were injured. Notes were found during searches conducted at the home of 15-year-old 9th-grade student Halil O., who is identified as the perpetrator of the attack.

According to a report by Huzeyfe Atıcı from Sabah, it was determined that the texts found in the suspect's room constructed an imaginary structure under the name "Socialist Communist Party." It was also reported that the notes contained expressions of admiration for the character Joe Goldberg from the Netflix series "You."

As part of the investigation, it was determined that Halil O. had wiped his mobile phone before the attack. While digital materials belonging to the suspect are being examined, it was reported that the number of people detained in connection with the incident has risen to 9.

ALLEGATIONS REGARDING THE PLANNING OF THE ATTACK

In examinations conducted by security units, it was alleged that the suspect told his cousin about his plan to carry out an action with a rifle about a month ago, but that his relative did not take the situation seriously. It is believed that the suspect procured cartridges with money he received from his grandmother, practiced shooting with his cousins, and used a licensed weapon from his grandfather's house in the attack.

According to technical findings, the attack took place on the route where students were walking to school. It was determined that Halil O. fired a total of 3 shots; the first shot was fired approximately 80 meters from the school, and the other shots were fired from distances of 90 and 100 meters.
