A release order has been issued for the journalists who were arrested on March 25 for covering the protests in Saraçhane following the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu.
Seven journalists who were detained for covering the protests that began in Saraçhane following the detention and arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu had been imprisoned.
According to the latest information obtained, a release order has been issued for the arrested journalists: AFP photojournalist Yasin Akgül, photojournalist Bülent Kılıç, Zeynep Kuray, NOW TV reporter Ali Onur Tosun, Bakırköy Municipality photojournalist Gökhan Kam, Hayri Tunç, and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality photojournalist Kurtuluş Arı.
