New statement from CHP Chairman Özel regarding the banned boycott website: 'The junta alliance is in a panic'
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made a statement on his social media account regarding the nationwide boycott and the boycott websites that have been shut down.
In a statement on his social media account, Özgür Özel evaluated the ongoing boycott process while noting that the banned boycott websites have relaunched under a different domain.
Stating that the government is in a panic due to the boycott, Özel also announced that the boycott will continue.
Özel shared the following:
Today, we carried out a one-day consumption boycott by following the call of our youth to demonstrate the power of the nation against a handful of coup plotters.
I thank our youth, our tradespeople, and all our citizens who supported the boycott, both achieving significant results and announcing this democratic action to the world.
We all saw the state of panic the junta alliance we are facing has fallen into. Those who have not been able to go out on the streets for years were forced to go out in a hurry and see the plight of the impoverished nation.
Boycotting is a democratic right; the boycott will continue against those who do not see the oppression committed by those who violate the rights of others during the month of Ramadan, and who even support this oppression.
Previously, they imposed access bans on our sites http://boykotyap.com and http://boykotyap.net with unlawful decisions.
Now, we are live with the site http://boykotyap.org.
I invite everyone to boycott the brands on this list. Although different lists are circulating on social media, this is our real list.
This government will understand what it means to be stubborn against the nation and what it means to imprison the nation's presidential candidate.
“The independence of the nation will be saved by the determination and resolve of the nation itself.”
Today, we carried out a one-day consumption boycott by following the call of our youth to demonstrate the power of the nation against a handful of coup plotters.
