Operation against AcnTürk Sigorta in 15 provinces

The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that simultaneous operations were conducted in 15 provinces as part of an investigation into AcnTürk Sigorta A.Ş. During the operation, 23 of the 24 suspects for whom detention warrants were issued were apprehended.

In the work carried out by the teams of the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, allegations of irregularities regarding the company's establishment process were examined.

According to the statement, it was determined that during the establishment phase of AcnTürk Sigorta A.Ş., the company's actual capital of 14 million liras was shown as 94 million liras. It was reported that it is assessed that the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK) was misled in this way to obtain a license.

It was also noted that the investigation determined that a total of 130 million liras was embezzled in an organized manner.

It was stated that the operations carried out on September 22, 2026, were conducted in Adana, Aksaray, Ankara, Antalya, Batman, Diyarbakır, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, İzmir, Kayseri, Konya, Mardin, Muğla, and Manisa, in addition to Istanbul.

While the procedures for the detained suspects continue at the police station, it was announced that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the 1 fugitive suspect. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the investigation is being conducted with "urgency and diligence."
