According to a post on the social media account of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the meeting addressed the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, the rising tension in the region, and the steps that need to be taken for a resolution.
During the call, President Erdoğan stated that ending the conflicts as soon as possible is important for regional and global peace, that Turkey is making intense efforts to ensure humanitarian aid reaches Gaza, that steps that increase tension should be avoided, and that positive reciprocal steps taken regarding the Israel-Palestine issue could lead to a lasting solution.
