In an investigation conducted by the Organized Crime Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into organized crime groups, striking information regarding allegations of a planned assassination against rapper Hakan Aydın, known by the stage name Blok3, has been reflected in the case file.

While numerous suspects were detained as part of the investigation, it was stated that the investigation is being conducted in a multi-faceted manner based on seized weapons, digital materials, and suspect statements.

ALLEGATIONS THAT Hakan Aydın WAS THE TARGET

According to the allegations in the investigation file, rapper Hakan Aydın was the target of an organized crime group known as the "Şapkalılar" (The Hat-Wearers).

According to the report by Hatice Aksu, the interrogation transcripts included in the file allege that the organization members were making preparations to carry out the attack and that the plan was being executed in an organized manner.

WEAPONS AND FINANCING ALLEGEDLY PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZATION

According to findings by police units reflected in the investigation file, it is alleged that the weapons intended for use in the attack were procured and the operation was financed by the organization's leaders.

It was also alleged in the investigation that a person named V.R.A. was one of the individuals providing the connection between the suspects.

ALLEGATION OF A PRIVATE "BLOK3" GROUP CREATED ON SIGNAL

According to information in the file, it is alleged that a private group named "Blok3" was created on the messaging application Signal for the purpose of coordinating the attack.

Within the scope of the investigation, it was claimed that action instructions were transmitted to the suspects, who were stated to use foreign GSM lines, by D.A. and a person codenamed "Cesur," while the movement plan in Muğla was conveyed through a person named "Diyar."

POLICE OPERATION CONDUCTED IN MUĞLA

According to information in the investigation file, the suspects set off for Muğla using vehicles rented from Istanbul and a black minibus.

It was reported that the vehicles, which were tracked by plainclothes police teams within the borders of Muğla province on July 21, 2026, did not comply with the "stop" order, and the suspects were detained after a short-lived chase.

UNLICENSED WEAPONS AND AMMUNITION FOUND IN VEHICLES

It was noted that numerous unlicensed pistols, spare magazines, and 9x19 millimeter caliber cartridges were seized during searches conducted in the rental vehicles as part of the operation.

According to information in the file, the seized materials included unlicensed pistols, numerous spare magazines, and dozens of cartridges.

SUSPECTS DENIED THE ACCUSATIONS

One of the suspects who gave a statement as part of the investigation, K.Y., claimed that he initially accepted the offer to attack the manager but later abandoned this idea.

In his statement, K.Y. denied the accusations, claiming that their purpose for going to Muğla was not murder, but that they were in the region to help a person named F., who was stated to be fleeing from a police check, to go abroad through illegal means.

"YOU WILL DO THIS JOB" ALLEGATION IN THE FILE

Another suspect who gave a statement in the file alleged that Hakan Aydın was directly targeted in the Signal group.

The suspect claimed that he was told, "You are doing this job, we trust you," and that he was subsequently told that Hakan Aydın and his manager were to be shot.

In the same statement, the suspect described picking up some people near the Bursa Osmangazi Bridge before heading to Muğla, where they were stopped by police teams at traffic lights.

SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS ALSO ENTERED THE FILE

The investigation file also included threatening posts on social media that were alleged to have targeted Blok3 by the same group previously.

According to the allegations, it was stated that these posts contained expressions indicating that the artist's concerts would be prevented.

INVESTIGATION CONTINUES MULTI-FACETED

It was reported that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing its investigation to clarify all aspects of the incident.

It was learned that efforts are ongoing to determine other connections of the organization and to identify the instigators behind the alleged plan as part of the investigation.
