Statement from TOKİ regarding the plot allocated to an AKP deputy!

TOKİ's 'My First Home Plot Project' draw resulted in a plot in the Bezirhane - Cimşit neighborhood of Ankara's Gölbaşı district being allocated to AKP Ankara Deputy and MKYK member Kurtcan Çelebi.

MONTHLY INCOME MUST BE BELOW 16,000 TL

To benefit from the 'My First Home Plot Project' campaign, one must have a monthly income of less than 16,000 TL and neither the applicant, their spouse, nor their children may own a house or a plot/share of a plot suitable for building a house.

HE ANNOUNCED HE 'WAIVED' HIS RIGHT

Çelebi stated that he lives in a rented house in Ankara and had applied for the campaign before becoming a deputy. Çelebi announced that he called TOKİ and stated that he was waiving his right.

“ENTITLEMENTS OF THOSE WHO DO NOT MEET THE CONDITIONS ARE TERMINATED”

A written statement regarding the matter was also issued by TOKİ.

The following statements were included in TOKİ's announcement:

"According to the application conditions announced on the TOKİ website, applications from citizens who do not own a deed, meet residency requirements, are below a certain income level, and have not previously benefited from TOKİ projects were received, and their compliance with the determined conditions was subjected to a preliminary review before the lottery process. Entitlements were determined as a result of these lotteries.

In the subsequent process, lotteries for location determination will be held in the presence of a notary, and during the bank contract stage for beneficiaries, ownership and income statuses will be checked, and contracts will be signed with those whose conditions are appropriate. No contract has been signed with the beneficiary in question, Kurtcan Çelebi, and his entitlement has been canceled upon his statement that he waived his right. In all work carried out by our administration, transactions are established by checking compliance with the conditions. The entitlements of those who do not meet the conditions are terminated even if they have signed a contract."
