ULU'S EXPLANATION FOR HER SILENCE

Sultan Nur Ulu explained the reason for her silence as being "forced." Ulu stated, "Look, I stayed silent for so many days, but I stayed silent because I was forced to. I stayed silent because I had to."

In her statement, Ulu claimed that Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter had presented herself in a convincing manner after the incident, saying, "She was tearing herself apart so much, she was even taking off her clothes and stuff, sister. I said to myself, 'Sultan, who would believe you?'"

Sultan Nur Ulu also stated that she had previously told Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter that she would tell what she knew, adding, "I told her even once, if I enter that place in handcuffs because of you, I will tell all the truths I know."

Ulu expressed her allegation regarding Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter's behavior after the incident with these words: "Tuğyan was acting very well. She was putting on an Oscar-worthy performance. I asked. I said, 'Tuğyan, why did you do such a thing?' When I asked, she would start crying."

Stating that she had also lost her own mother, Ulu argued that while people can experience grief, Tuğyan's behavior did not seem realistic to her. Ulu stated, "I also lost my mother. People suffer, but Tuğyan was acting very well. She was putting on an Oscar-worthy performance."
