The Constitutional Court (AYM) has not processed the criminal complaint filed by the 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court against the AYM members who ruled that there was a violation of rights regarding TİP Hatay MP Can Atalay.
A judicial crisis emerged in Turkey following the Constitutional Court's ruling of a rights violation regarding Hatay TİP MP Can Atalay, who is imprisoned in the Gezi Park trial and whose parliamentary membership was revoked, and the Supreme Court's refusal to implement this ruling.
SENT TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT
The 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court had sent the criminal complaint petition to the Supreme Court Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had assigned a prosecutor to the matter, and the prosecutor had begun working on the legislation regarding the criminal complaint.
According to the report by Altan Sancar from PolitikYol; as a result of the legislative review, the petition was sent to the Constitutional Court.
The Constitutional Court conducted a review regarding the criminal complaint and, by taking an administrative decision, did not process the criminal complaint.
