Turkey has condemned the attack carried out by Israel on the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in Gaza.
ANKARA (AA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the attack carried out by Israel on the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in Gaza, which resulted in the loss of life of hundreds of Palestinian civilians.
In a written statement issued by the Ministry, it was stated: "We condemn the attack carried out by Israel on the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in Gaza, which resulted in the loss of life of hundreds of Palestinian civilians."
The statement noted that with this latest "barbaric attack," Israel has added a new one to the war crimes it has committed in Gaza, and added the following:
"We call upon the institutions tasked with maintaining international peace and security, primarily the United Nations Security Council, to fulfill their responsibilities to put an end to Israel's commission of these crimes, as it is currently being tried at the International Court of Justice for violating its obligations under the 1948 Genocide Convention."
