Knife attack on HSK inspector!

A knife attack occurred at the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK), leaving inspector Mehmet Aslan seriously wounded. The suspect who carried out the attack has been taken into custody.

A horrific incident took place at the Council of Judges and Prosecutors. Berat C., who works as a dishwasher in the cafeteria, stabbed HSK inspector Mehmet Aslan in the throat after Aslan went out into the garden following lunch.

It was learned that inspector Mehmet Aslan had previously served as Chief Public Prosecutor in Keban, Elazığ, and that the suspect had worked as a bailiff at the same courthouse during that period.

The incident occurred at the Council of Judges and Prosecutors complex in Ankara. HSK inspector Mehmet Aslan (40) went to the cafeteria at noon. After eating, Aslan went out to the garden, where Berat C., a cafeteria employee, approached him from behind and began stabbing him in the neck with a knife.

Staggered by two stab wounds, Aslan fell to the ground. The suspect was apprehended by police and security officers at the HSK entrance.

INSPECTOR SERIOUSLY WOUNDED

Covered in blood, HSK inspector Mehmet Aslan (40) was rushed to the hospital by medical teams arriving at the scene. It was learned that Aslan, who was stabbed in the throat, is in serious condition. Berat C., who left questions regarding the motive for the incident unanswered, was found to have worked with Aslan at the same courthouse in the past.

 

It emerged that while Mehmet Aslan was serving as Chief Public Prosecutor in Keban, Elazığ, Berat C. was working as a bailiff at the same courthouse. It was learned that Berat C. was employed as a dishwasher in the HSK cafeteria under the Ministry of Justice.
