A new statement has come from Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek regarding the pension regulation announced by AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan.
In his statement, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek used the following expressions:
"The technical work we are conducting to support the purchasing power of our retirees has not yet been completed.
The regulation will cover all our retirees.
We believe it would be appropriate for the increase to be made to vary according to our retirees' age and number of premium payment days.
I think the final work will most likely be done within December and will be brought to your appreciation immediately after the budget."
