TMSF puts industrial giant up for sale
The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has put HES Kablo, one of the industrial giants owned by the Treasury, up for sale. According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, the entire company will be offered for tender with an estimated value of 22 billion TL.
The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has put all shares of HES Hacılar Elektrik Sanayi AŞ (HES Kablo), one of the significant industrial organizations held by the Treasury, up for sale. According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, the estimated value determined for the 100 percent stake was announced as 22 billion TL.
The sale process will be carried out through a bid submission and tender method.
Prospective investors will be able to submit bids until June 30, 2025. The tender for the sale of HES Kablo shares will be held on July 1, 2025. Bids in the tender will be accepted only in Turkish Lira and on a cash payment basis.
Among the assets put up for sale within the scope of the tender are 30 billion HES Kablo shares with a nominal value of 0.01 TL owned by the Treasury. In addition, 21.9 million Erciyes Çelik Halat AŞ shares with a nominal value of 1 TL, also owned by the Treasury, along with Boyçelik Metal AŞ, will be evaluated within the same tender.
BELLONA WAS ALSO SOLD
The TMSF recently completed another significant sale. The famous furniture brand Bellona changed hands for 8 billion 100 million TL. The acquisition was carried out by Bellona Mobilya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., which was jointly established by Bellona dealers.
