The Turkish White Goods Manufacturers' Association (TÜRKBESD) data for February 2024 shows that white goods sales in the domestic market have increased, while exports continue to decline. In February, compared to the same period of the previous year, there was a 39% increase in domestic white goods sales, while exports decreased by 1%.
According to the TÜRKBESD report, domestic sales of white goods in the six main product groups increased by 39% compared to the same month last year, reaching 1.04 million units. Exports, on the other hand, declined by 1% in February, recorded at 1.83 million units.
In the January-February period, covering the first two months of 2024, domestic sales rose by 31% to 1.9 million units, while exports fell by 2% to 3.49 million units.
