Time for the mid-term break for 18 million students

Approximately 18 million students studying in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education are beginning their second mid-term break between March 16 and March 20, 2026. As the final school bell rings today, students will enjoy their break. Classes will resume after the holiday on Monday, March 23.

SECOND MID-TERM BREAK DATES ANNOUNCED

According to the 2025-2026 academic calendar, the second mid-term break will begin on Monday, March 16, and end on Friday, March 20. During this period, there will be no face-to-face education in schools. Students will have the opportunity to rest, visit family, and participate in various social activities during the 5-day break.

The 2025-2026 academic year began on September 8, 2025. The first mid-term break was held between November 10-14, 2025, while the semester break was implemented from January 19 to January 30, 2026. The second term began on Monday, February 2, 2026. After the mid-term break, students will return to classes on March 23.
