The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has issued a new data entry instruction for teachers as part of the monitoring and evaluation process of the Century of Turkey Maarif Model. In a letter sent to educational institutions by the Board of Education and Discipline, it was requested that teachers who teach at grade levels where the model is implemented regularly submit their opinions, suggestions, and findings to the TTKB-İDES platform.
According to the announcement dated November 4, 2026, teachers will access the Board of Education and Discipline Monitoring and Evaluation System (TTKB-İDES) via the address ttkbides.meb.gov.tr to evaluate curricula, textbooks, and educational materials.
Data entries are expected to be made in accordance with the annual plan and the sequence of lessons. Accordingly, teachers are expected to log into the system after the completion of each unit, theme, or learning area to share their experiences in practice and their opinions regarding the content.
In the Ministry's letter, it was stated that the field data collected via TTKB-İDES will be used as a primary data source in efforts to update curricula, textbooks, and educational materials. The process is aimed to be continued without interruption in the 2026-2027 academic year.
School administrations have also been tasked with monitoring the process. Administrations were requested to hang the informational poster shared via MEB Cloud in a visible place in the teachers' lounge, inform the subject-matter teachers, and take the necessary measures to ensure that data entries are made regularly.
The implementation covers public school teachers at the preschool, primary, and secondary education levels working in grade levels where the Century of Turkey Maarif Model is in effect. The official letter was sent to the relevant distribution points under the signature of the Chairman of the Board of Education and Discipline, Cem Gençoğlu.
