According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent downpours and localized thunderstorms forecast for the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Western Black Sea, the south and west of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Samsun, Amasya, Tokat, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, Erzurum, and Muş. Rainfall is expected to be strong and locally very strong in the surroundings of Marmara (except Sakarya and Bilecik), Southeastern Anatolia (except Batman and Siirt), Antalya, Osmaniye, and Tunceli, as well as the coastal parts of Aydın and Hatay, and the northern parts of İzmir and Adana; it is expected to be severe and locally extreme in the surroundings of Muğla. Dust transport is expected to be observed in Southeastern Anatolia.
Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 3 to 5 degrees in the inner and western parts, with no significant change expected elsewhere.
Winds are expected to blow from the north in the northwestern parts and from the south elsewhere, light to occasionally moderate, and are expected to be strong with short-term storms (40-70 km/h) from the north along the Marmara and North Aegean coasts, and from the south and southeast in the east of Central Anatolia.
PROVINCES WARNED WITH YELLOW AND ORANGE CODES
According to the warning map published by the General Directorate of Meteorology, Antalya, Bursa, Denizli, İzmir, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, İstanbul, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, and Yalova have been issued a yellow code warning. For Muğla, both yellow and orange code warnings were displayed. Precautions should be taken against the expected adverse weather conditions in these provinces. While rainfall is expected to be severe and locally extreme, particularly in the surroundings of Muğla, strong winds are also expected to be effective along the Marmara and Aegean coasts.

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent downpours and thunderstorms. Rainfall is expected to be strong and locally very strong throughout the region, except for the surroundings of Bilecik and Sakarya. Winds are expected to blow from the north, strong and locally reaching short-term storm levels (50-70 km/h).
