Özgür Demirtaş reacts to Mustafa Destici's 'credit card fee' remarks: 'His citizenship should be revoked'

Economist Özgür Demirtaş, who is followed by a large audience for his economic posts on current events, has responded to BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, who defended the collection of 750 TL from credit cards for the Defense Industry Fund and targeted many segments of society.

In his initial statement, Destici had said, "Those who have a 100 thousand lira limit and do not pay the 750 lira credit card fee are DEM supporters, Greek, or Armenian."

Prof. Dr. Özgür Demirtaş stated on social media, "While there are so many unemployed people, the citizenship of those who get their own children into parliament should be revoked."
