The Zembilli series is filmed in the province of İzmir. The location used for the village scenes is the village of Birgi, which is part of the Ödemiş district and is known for its stone houses and centuries-old plane trees... In fact, the village of Birgi is a place familiar to television viewers. Series such as Elimi Bırakma, Benim Adım Melek, and Kara Tahta were previously filmed in Birgi.

The filming of series in Birgi is also followed by the local residents. Speaking to the TV9 İzmir channel, a Birgi resident says, "It contributes to the promotion of Birgi. There is an increase in the number of tourists coming. But the film crews block the roads a lot."

Another Birgi resident lists their complaints by saying, "It is nothing but a nuisance. There is nothing but discomfort. We go to bed at 12 midnight, and they are filming the series. We are disturbed."
