'Papers with spells and curses' operation: 'Master, my spouse filed for divorce'
A suspect who exploited religious sentiments by collecting money from citizens in exchange for prayers, and who was found to be making spells and amulets, was caught by police teams in Gaziantep.
While the apprehended individual was arrested by the judicial authorities to whom they were referred, the magic and curse-themed papers seized were truly shocking.
Teams from the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch of the Gaziantep Police Department conducted an operation to apprehend the individual, who was determined to be defrauding citizens by exploiting their religious sentiments.
Within the scope of the investigation, a raid was carried out at the identified address.
As a result of the raid, the individual who exploited religious sentiments by collecting money from citizens in exchange for prayers, magic, and curses was apprehended.
During the searches at the address, numerous documents and digital materials were seized.
The writings on the papers found among the seized documents, which contained magic and curses, were truly shocking.
Following the completion of legal procedures, the suspect was referred to judicial authorities, arrested, and sent to prison.
