The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had announced that an arrest and detention warrant had been issued for Küçük on charges of "publicly disseminating misleading information" and "blackmail." Following the order, teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch took Küçük into custody.
THE FILE CONTAINS MEETINGS WITH BUSINESSPEOPLE
According to information Mustafa Kadir Mercan attributed to Chief Public Prosecutor's Office sources, the investigation is not limited to the allegation of obtaining financial gain through social media posts. Mercan stated that meetings Küçük held with certain businesspeople are also being examined within the scope of the file.
According to the allegations, it was claimed that threatening language was used against businesspeople during these meetings. The allegation that Küçük exerted pressure by bringing up influential figures in high positions and certain institutions, and engaged in blackmail through this method, was cited as one of the headings in the investigation file.

Evaluating the MASAK reports during the live broadcast, Mercan stated, "Cem Küçük's MASAK reports are also of a nature that will confirm the findings of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office."
The allegations put forward within the scope of the investigation are expected to be clarified during the judicial process. The final assessment regarding the accusations against Küçük will emerge following the prosecution's procedures and a potential trial process.
