First statement from Ferman Toprak following assault allegations: 'Shame on everyone!'
Famous singer Ferman Toprak has given a statement as a 'suspect' following allegations that he assaulted workers renovating his 5-story luxury villa in Beykoz. Following the reports in the press, Toprak stated, "Shame on everyone who presents a gang-like group that threatened us as if they were innocent."
Ferman Toprak did not pay the full fee to the workers he had contracted for 1.5 million TL for renovations, and a fight broke out between the parties.
The workers, who claimed that Toprak and the people with him beat them with the butts of pistols, filed a complaint.
Toprak, who gave his statement, denied the allegations against him.
'THEY RAIDED OUR HOME WITH WEAPONS'
Making a statement on his social media account regarding the events, the singer said, "Shame on everyone who presents a gang-like group that raided our home with guns and utility knives and threatened us as if they were innocent."
