A request for indictment has been prepared regarding actor Emrah Aytemur as part of an investigation launched on the grounds that he was driving under the influence during a traffic check in Kadıköy. In the check performed on the vehicle stopped by police teams on September 30, it was stated that Aytemur had 2.69 promille alcohol.

Following the inspection, Aytemur's driver's license was confiscated and an investigation was launched on the charge of "driving under the influence." The Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office evaluated the file within the scope of the simplified procedure.
In the request, a 1-year prison sentence was demanded for the 37-year-old Aytemur, who is known for the character "Ferman" in the series "Sevdiğim Sensin." Within the framework of the simplified procedure, the sentence was reduced by half to 6 months.

Taking into account Aytemur's remorse as well as his social and economic situation, it was requested that the prison sentence be converted into a judicial fine of 18 thousand TL. The request regarding Aytemur, who accepted the judicial fine offered to him in the presence of his defense counsel, was sent to the Istanbul Anatolian Criminal Court of First Instance for a verdict to be rendered.
It was reported that the final decision on the file will be clarified by the ruling to be issued by the court.
