How to use air conditioning efficiently in summer: Pay attention to the balance of temperature, humidity, and maintenance

According to Karakaya, indoor comfort should be evaluated alongside factors such as humidity levels, air circulation, solar heat gain, system capacity, and regular maintenance.

Karakaya stated that the criteria of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) are an important reference during the summer period, noting that the ideal temperature range should be 23-26°C. It was emphasized that lower temperature settings do not always increase user comfort, but can significantly increase electricity consumption.
