New development in the accident at Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ's home: Statement from his lawyer
A statement has been released by lawyer İbrahim Ateş regarding the workplace accident reported to have occurred at Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ's home in Göktürk.
Lawyer İbrahim Ateş has issued a statement regarding an incident at actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ's home in Istanbul's Göktürk district, where a worker fell and was seriously injured during cleaning work following renovations.
The statement noted that the accident occurred on August 31 in the garden of Tatlıtuğ's home, and that Tatlıtuğ and his family were out of the city at that time. It was reported that the renovation and construction work at the house was being carried out by a Göktürk-based firm.

Lawyer Ateş stated that on the fourth day of the work, the firm's representative brought a day laborer to the site without the knowledge or approval of Tatlıtuğ or his employees. The statement noted that the firm's representative also confirmed this in his police testimony.
Emphasizing that no investigation is being conducted against Tatlıtuğ as a matter of law, the statement expressed that the actor has been in contact with the injured person's family since the first day of the incident and has been closely involved in the hospital, care, and treatment process, as well as covering expenses and the needs of the victim's relatives.
The statement further noted that the firm's representative, Atilla A., was released under judicial control and that the legal process is being closely monitored. It was announced that Tatlıtuğ's side will file a complaint and initiate a lawsuit against those deemed responsible for the incident.
The full statement is as follows:
“Due to incorrect news reports circulating in the public regarding the accident that occurred on August 31 in the garden of our client Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ's home, this statement has been deemed necessary to inform the public accurately.
During the period when our client and his family were out of the city, renovation and construction work in the garden of his home was being carried out by a Göktürk-based firm. On the 4th day of the work, the firm's representative brought a day laborer to the work area without the knowledge, permission, or approval of my client or his employees.
The firm's representative clearly stated this fact in his testimony to the police. No investigation has been conducted against our client regarding this matter as required by law.
Acting with a sense of humanitarian and conscientious responsibility, our client has been in contact with the injured person's family since the first day of the incident and has been closely involved in the hospital, care, and treatment process, as well as covering expenses and the needs of their relatives. This interest and support continue to this day.
The firm's representative, Atilla A., has been released under judicial control, and the legal process is being closely followed by us. We respectfully announce to the public that we will also file a complaint and initiate a lawsuit against those who caused the incident in question.”
