Guild, who frequently visits Konya, also attended the Süper Lig match played between Konyaspor and Galatasaray last weekend in person.
Despite Konyaspor's defeat at the end of the match, Guild, who shed tears of joy because the team remained in the league, stated, "I decided to become a Muslim by reciting the Shahada."
