TMSF to sell creams from Dilan Polat's companies under trusteeship

TMSF to sell creams from Dilan Polat's companies under trusteeship

New developments are unfolding regarding Dilan and Engin Polat, a couple who occupied Turkey's agenda for a long time.

In an operation conducted on November 1st across 6 provinces centered in Istanbul, 17 suspects, including Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat, were detained.

Within the scope of the investigation, a preliminary report was prepared by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) regarding the suspects, including the Polat couple, whose digital materials and ledgers were seized during previous searches of their companies. The report determined that 200 million liras had entered the family members' companies from three firms in liquidation through the method of issuing fake invoices in exchange for sham trade.

14 PEOPLE ARRESTED

Continuing their work within the scope of the investigation, teams determined that a medical company belonging to Dilan and Engin Polat had granted naming rights to another firm in Ankara, and that an attempt was made to transfer 1 million 800 thousand liras from this firm's account to the personal accounts of the partners.

The teams placed a block on the funds and detained 4 suspects; in the expanded investigation, 3 more wanted suspects were apprehended. Within the scope of the investigation, 14 of the suspects, including Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, and Sıla Doğu, were arrested, while 9 were released under judicial control conditions.
