The 40-year-old Balti shared her experiences during this process with her followers. The model said, "I have a long journey ahead of me, but I know I will overcome this."
Balti, who is a mother of three, stated, "So far, cancer has given me the chance to hold onto beautiful things despite the obstacles in life."
"YOU WILL SEE ME VERY HEALTHY SOON"
Balti expressed that she is maintaining a positive attitude while battling cancer, saying, "I am doing much better and I am very happy that I found out about this." Adding that she has just come out of surgery and is preparing for chemotherapy, the model said, "I am very well, I swear. I have great hopes for everything. Don't worry about me, you will see that I will be very healthy soon."
Balti had previously made statements regarding her health issues. The model, who learned that she had a 50 percent risk of developing breast cancer and a 30 percent risk of developing ovarian cancer throughout her life due to a gene she carries, told Vogue magazine, "The hardest part of this process was the fear. Learning the diagnosis, taking time off work, and not knowing what my body would look like."
The 40-year-old Italian model has worked with many luxury brands throughout her career, most notably Dolce & Gabbana.
