Attention Kadıköy residents: Water to be cut in 6 neighborhoods

As part of renewal and maintenance work to be carried out on the main water transmission line in Istanbul's Kadıköy district, a water outage will be implemented in some neighborhoods on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

According to the information obtained, the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) announced that water will be cut for a total of 12 hours, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, to allow for necessary revision and improvement operations. The neighborhoods of Dumlupınar, Eğitim, Fikirtepe, Hasanpaşa, Acıbadem, and Merdivenköy will be affected by the aforementioned outage.

While officials emphasized that this mandatory intervention in the infrastructure is necessary for the healthy and safe supply of water in the region, they reminded citizens to take precautions.
