A battery explosion at a phone shop in Hatay has once again highlighted how dangerous batteries can be. Shopkeeper Salih Bayram experienced a terrifying ordeal as the explosion occurred.
A cell phone battery explosion at a business in the Türkiye Yüzyılı Bazaar, located in the Haraparası neighborhood of the Antakya district, caused panic.
Salih Bayram, who works at a shop selling phones, narrowly escaped injury when a battery suddenly exploded and caught fire while he was working. Thanks to his quick reflexes, Bayram managed to pull back and avoid being burned.
The moment of the incident and the panic experienced by citizens in the shop were captured second by second on security cameras.
