Fire truck responding to a fire overturns

In the Ceyhan district of Adana, a fire truck heading to respond to a fire lost control and overturned onto the median at the Kösreli location on the D-400 highway. Three firefighters in the vehicle were injured in the accident.

According to the information obtained, the fire truck driven by Veysel K., which was moving to attend a fire that broke out in the Azizli neighborhood, overturned after the driver lost steering control.

Upon notification, gendarmerie, medical, and fire crews were dispatched to the region. Veysel K., Fatih G., and Muhammet Çağrı K., who were trapped in the overturned vehicle, were extracted from where they were by their colleagues who arrived at the scene.

The three firefighters, who received their initial interventions at the scene, were taken to Ceyhan State Hospital by ambulances. It was learned that the health status of the injured is good.

An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
