He fell into an irrigation canal with his wife and 2-year-old child
In Adana, a 22-year-old man lost his life, and his wife and 2-year-old son were injured after their motorcycle fell into an irrigation canal.
The accident occurred in the Karayusuflu neighborhood of the Seyhan district.
According to the information received, the motorcycle driven by Yakup Kaya (22), carrying his wife Güllü Kaya (21) and their son Muhammed Ayaz Kaya (2), lost control and fell into an irrigation canal while in motion.
Citizens in the vicinity who witnessed the incident immediately entered the water and pulled the family out. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area.
The family, who received initial medical intervention at the scene, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
However, despite all interventions, the driver Yakup Kaya could not be saved. It was learned that Güllü Kaya and Muhammed Ayaz are in good health.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
