He shot his ex-wife and her cousin, then took his own life

The incident took place in an apartment on the 2nd floor of the 4-story Erdoğan Apartment building located on Büyük Bölcek Street in the Büyük Bölcek neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Tolga Kuş (34), who learned that his ex-wife Kübra Kılıç (31) was going to marry someone else, called his ex-wife on the phone and began to argue with her.

Stating that he did not want her to marry someone else, Tolga Kuş raided the house where his ex-wife lived. Forcing the door open to enter the apartment, Tolga Kuş first began to beat his ex-wife. Zeynep Ayas, the cousin of his ex-wife who was in the house, intervened and tried to break up the fight.

At that moment, Tolga Kuş pulled out the handgun from his waistband and opened fire, first on his ex-wife and then on her cousin, Zeynep Ayas. As both women collapsed to the floor covered in blood, Tolga Kuş held the gun to his own head and fired.

The man and the cousin died at the scene, the ex-wife died at the hospital

Apartment residents who heard the gunshots immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, numerous ambulance and police teams were dispatched to the scene. While the police, who arrived at the scene in a short time, took security measures, medical teams determined that Zeynep Ayas and Tolga Kuş had died.

Critically injured, Kübra Kılıç was taken by ambulance to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital emergency department. Despite all interventions, the woman could not be saved and lost her life.

Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Crime Scene Investigation Branch conducted an examination at the scene. In the incident, where the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office also conducted an investigation at the house, the bodies of the deceased were taken to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital morgue for autopsy. An investigation has been launched by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident, while the Public Security Branch's Murder Bureau teams continue their detailed investigation.
