Motorcycle crashes into business, followed by a knife fight
In Odunpazarı, a motorcycle lost control and crashed into a business. Two people were injured in the fight that broke out after the accident, and the driver was apprehended.
In an accident that occurred at night in the Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir, a motorcycle lost control and crashed into a business on the side of the road. The argument that broke out between the parties following the accident turned into a knife attack.
The incident took place on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Street in the İstiklal neighborhood. The motorcycle with license plate 26 AOG 671, driven by T.D. (16), maneuvered to avoid hitting a light commercial vehicle with license plate 26 EY 276, driven by H.İ.S., which was making a U-turn while in motion.
Following the maneuver, the motorcycle lost control, mounted the sidewalk, and crashed into the business after breaking its window. After the accident, an argument began between the motorcycle driver, the driver of the light commercial vehicle, and the business owner.
As the argument quickly turned into a fight, H.İ.S. was beaten and injured. S.A., a relative of the business owner, was injured with a knife. The motorcycle driver, T.D., who is alleged to have stabbed S.A., fled the scene.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance after receiving initial treatment at the scene.
As a result of the police teams' efforts, the fleeing motorcycle driver T.D. was quickly apprehended and taken into custody. It was stated that the accident and the subsequent fight were captured on the business's security camera. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
