Passenger train hits concrete pump truck in Edirne
A passenger train in Edirne struck a concrete pump truck that had been abandoned on the tracks. The 35 passengers on board were transported to Kapıkule Station.
The train, operating the Istanbul-Sofia route, came to a stop after colliding with a concrete pump truck with license plate 06 GF 1026 that had been left on the tracks in the Sarıbayır area.
Upon notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

The teams determined that there was no one inside the vehicle, which had overturned due to the impact.
The 35 passengers on the train, which was towed to Ayşekadın Station by another locomotive, were taken to Kapıkule Station by road.

The police have launched an investigation to locate the driver of the vehicle left on the tracks.
