Theft suspect commits suicide at Istanbul Courthouse
A theft suspect, who was referred to the judgeship with a request for arrest at the Istanbul Courthouse, committed suicide by jumping from the 6th floor.
According to allegations, the incident occurred around noon at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. H.T. (52), who was detained for theft and referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for arrest, threw himself into the block void from the 6th floor while his procedures were being carried out while handcuffed.
Upon notification, medical teams on duty within the courthouse were dispatched to the scene.
In the initial examination, it was determined that H.T., who fell to the ground from a height of several meters, had lost his life. Following the incident, security measures were increased at the courthouse, and crime scene investigation teams launched an investigation.

"I do not want to see my family"
It was learned that H.T. had noted "I do not want to see my family" in the report prepared during his statement procedures. It was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
