25 lira water order dispute escalates: Ezgi Yen's complaint posts become a trending topic on social media
A post by X user Ezgi Yen regarding a water order has turned into a widespread debate after her past complaint posts on her account became a subject of discussion.
A complaint by Ezgi Yen, who posts on X under the username “@ezgiyenn”, regarding a Hayat Su order placed through Getir, quickly became one of the most talked-about topics on social media.
Yen wrote that despite selecting a “premium” product, she was sent a standard product and was therefore overcharged by 25 lira. The Getir Support account responded to the post, requesting that she provide her order details via direct message.

PAST POSTS ALSO BROUGHT TO THE AGENDA
As the post spread, users began examining past posts on Yen’s profile. It was observed that the account contained numerous complaints and requests directed at various institutions over the years, ranging from banks and stores to delivery companies and municipalities.

Social media users humorously likened Yen’s account to a “complaint tracking system” and a “Şikayetvar account.” While some posts became a subject of humor, some users argued that it is natural for a consumer to seek their rights even in disputes involving small amounts.

THERE WERE THOSE WHO SUPPORTED AND THOSE WHO CRITICIZED
At the center of the debate was the question of whether the 25 lira difference was “worth complaining about.” While the small amount was highlighted in the criticisms, supporting users stated that consumers have the right to object if companies provide faulty products or services.

Ezgi Yen, on the other hand, did not take a step back and made new posts following the reactions. Yen argued that disregarding grievances involving small amounts reduces objections to corporate practices and stated that she would continue to “seek her rights.”

THE DEBATE MOVED TO EKŞİ SÖZLÜK
The agenda that started on X later reflected on Ekşi Sözlük. While a “Ezgi Yen” thread was opened on the platform, it was seen that numerous entries were made about the user.

Yen’s social media profile biography includes information that she studied at Istanbul University and Üsküdar University, and also holds a master’s degree in Forensic Sciences.
