Ayşe Yerlikaya, daughter of former Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, married Emre Mollahüseyinoğlu in a ceremony held in Istanbul on November 7. The wedding ceremony brought together numerous figures from politics and bureaucracy.
In addition to Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, ministers and AKP officials attended the ceremony. Among the witnesses to the marriage were Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, AKP Deputy Chairman Hayati Yazıcı, and AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler. Kurtulmuş also served as a witness for the couple's marriage.
AKP Konya Deputy Ziya Altunyaldız was also among those who attended the ceremony. It was noted that Mustafa Çiftçi, who took over the position of Interior Minister from Ali Yerlikaya in February, served as a witness at the Yerlikaya family's wedding.
Mustafa Çiftçi wished the young couple happiness in a post on his social media account on November 7.
